Mining, by its nature, impacts the environment. But we believe that with the right practices, we can minimize that impact while contributing to the sustainable use of our planet’s resources.
We don’t operate in isolation. The people and communities surrounding our mining sites are integral to our success. We believe in creating shared value—making sure that our presence contributes to the development of local economies.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of governance. This means transparency in our operations, ethical decision-making, and adhering to the laws and regulations that govern our industry.
As Diamond Sponsors of the just-concluded Nigeria Mining Week 2024, it was an absolute honor to actively participate in such a transformative event for the mining sector. This platform brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders, fostering meaningful connections and discussions that will shape the future of Nigeria's solid minerals industry. We were privileged to have Dr. Henry Dele Alake, Minister of Solid Minerals, experience the quality of our Nigerian gold and locally crafted jewelry, as well as Hajiya Fatima Shinkafi, CEO of the Solid Minerals Development Fund. Kursi Group remains committed to advancing sustainable mining and value-added initiatives in Nigeria. We hope to have more impactful conversations and collaborations as we move the industry forward.
